New Orleans Office Closed Until September 4

Due to widespread power outages and flooding as a result of Hurricane Isaac, our New Orleans office will remain closed until Tuesday, September 4. We anticipate that normal business hours will resume at that time.

New Orleans Office Closed – Tropical Storm Isaac

Due to the approaching Tropical Storm/Hurricane Isaac, our Project Logistics New Orleans, Louisiana office will be closed today, August 28.  As soon as the authorities deem the area safe to re-enter, our New Orleans office will resume normal business hours.

San Juan Office Closed – Tropical Storm Isaac

Update – Brazil Customs Strike

The strike in Brazil involving customs officers has passed 60 days. The strike greatly affects Guarulhos and Viracopos airports and Santos port. The strike is delaying all cargo checked by customs on the yellow and red channel, import and export. The strike stands to paralyze air and sea freight for several more weeks.

Hong Kong Office Has Resumed Normal Operations

The Hong Kong Observatory lowered the typhoon signal for Kai-tak to no. 3 around 6:00 a.m. this morning  (17 August 2012).  Typhoon Kai-tak did not heavily impact our operations, therefore our office has resumed normal operations.

Typhoon Kai-tak to Hit Hong Kong

The Hong Kong Observatory has issued a typhoon signal eight for Hong Kong. Typhoon Kai-tak will impact local transportation, terminal and airport operations. Shipments out of Hong Kong and South China may experience a longer transit.

During this typhoon period, our office will be closed; however, there will be skeleton staff on-hand in our town office and warehouse to handle emergencies. Please contact asia@agilitylogistics.com if you have questions or need assistance.
