Strike at Port of Balboa, Panama

The workers at the Port of Balboa, Panama (PPC) have organized a general strike which is estimated to last at least 48 hours. All port and rail activities are suspended until further notice.

Strike in Spain – March 29

In Spain, a general strike is scheduled for Thursday, March 29. This may affect normal activity at Spanish airports, seaports, road terminals and customs. It may also impact import and export shipments to and from Spain.
It is our intention to keep our offices and facilities open and operational but, these particular circumstances may affect normal activity.

Strikes at Auckland Port

The Maritime Union of New Zealand (MUNZ) has issued multiple strike notices. The strikes will occur consecutively and involve complete withdrawal of MUNZ labor from the port for four weeks, March 9 – April 6.

SEA Branch Closure due to Extreme Weather

Due to a major snowstorm in the Seattle/Tacoma region, Agility SEA branch is closed on Wednesday, January 18, 2012.  We hope to resume operations on Thursday, January 19, 2012.  However, this is tentative depending on driving conditions. Strike in Brazil at Itajaí Port

At Itajaí Port in Brazil employees have not working since last week due to a strike. No vessels are berthing and there is no estimate date to restart operations. As a result we will have delays on vessels operations at Itajaí Port. Several vessels are being redirected to Navegantes Port.
