China Update: Typhoon Muifa

Shanghai: Sunday, 7th August, 14:00
After approaching Eastern China Muifa took on a more northerly course and is not expected to cross landfall before tomorrow. The strong winds and rainfall have caused flight disruptions at Shanghai Pudong and Hongqaio airports and all flights were cancelled up to 14:00 on Sunday.  Port operations have also been affected.

Strike in Bangladesh – Possible Disruption of Operations

Possible disruption of operations at Jawaharlal Nehru (Nhava Sheva), India, Port

Please note that Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT) is replacing three of its Rail Mounted Quay Cranes (RMQCs).
The operation is expected to take place over a period of 40 days starting from 20 June 2011 to 31 July 2011. Port operations may be impacted during this time.
