Possible disruption of operations at Jawaharlal Nehru (Nhava Sheva), India, Port

Please note that Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT) is replacing three of its Rail Mounted Quay Cranes (RMQCs).
The operation is expected to take place over a period of 40 days starting from 20 June 2011 to 31 July 2011. Port operations may be impacted during this time.

Shanghai Truck Drivers’ Strike Over

Over the weekend the strike (protests) abated after concessions were made to cut fees.
There was a minor impact to Agility’s customers, with some containers experiencing delays of up to 6 days, but all bookings so far have a firm schedule.
