Agility Appoints Markus Lingohr to Head Area Central Europe

Logistics industry veteran to lead operations in Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Poland

HAMBURG, Germany — June 22, 2016 – Agility, a leading global logistics provider, has appointed Markus Lingohr to be Managing Director for Area Central Europe, giving him responsibility for its operations in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and Poland.

Lingohr brings more than 25 years of experience in the logistics industry. Prior to joining Agility, he was Managing Director for Air and Ocean Germany for Hellmann Worldwide Logistics with responsibility for all 12 Hellmann locations in Germany.

“Markus has profound knowledge of the logistics industry, extensive management experience and deep understanding of the European market. He brings insights that will be invaluable in his new position,” said Mike Bible, CEO, Agility Europe. “He is well-versed in managing large teams and complex challenges, and he comes with strong knowledge of the operational side of the business.”
