Please be informed that in preparation for Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr, most countries in the Middle East Region will officially implement reduced working hours tentatively from 28/29 June for 29 to 30 days. This will be followed by the 2/3 day Eid Al-Fitr holiday.
In Saudi Arabia (KSA) specifically, major ports and airports will be impacted due to the limited number of staff allocated by customs, carriers and port/airport authorities during Ramadan. The Eid Al-Fitr break in KSA will be longer with 5 off days.
Customers are recommended to avoid any shipments arriving there between 25 July and 10 August due to anticipated congestion at all KSA airport/ports. Please plan your freight movements in advance accordingly.
