Gates Closed at Nhava Sheva Terminal

Please be advised that due to a strike, Gate-In and Gate-Out activities of containers at Nhava Sheva International Container Terminal (NSICT) have come to a halt.

We understand that there are ongoing negotiations between the NSICT (operated by DP World) management and the labor unions on wage hikes. It is reported that terminal staff have stopped work completely since late in the evening of 15 October. This has impacted gate, rail and vessel operations at the terminal. Other terminals, JNPT and GTI, are functioning as normal.

In light of this, the Loading/Unloading terminal and Rail/Road activities at NSICT Terminal have stopped; the Gate In / Gate Out activities at the Terminal have also come to a halt.
