Typhoon Haikui to Hit East China

Tropical storm Haikui has been upgraded to Typhoon status and is expected to make landfall by midnight tonight, impacting the coastal cities of Ningbo and Wenzhou.

The China Meteorological Administration has issued a red alert for Haikui, the highest so far this year.

Shanghai authorities have issued the following statements:
•    No ships will be allowed out of port (unless on emergency public affairs)
•    All ships on the water are to return to port as soon as possible
•    Airports, land transportation, ferries and subways will adjust their schedules and delays are to be expected

Agility Shanghai/Ningbo/Suzhou stations will be fully operational tomorrow until further notice. We will provide periodic updates and advise on any further disruptions.

Additional information on Haikui can be found here.
