Update on Strike at Port Kelang, Malaysia

The strike by container haulage drivers at Port Kelang – the main import and export gateway by sea into Malaysia – has temporarily stopped. Authorities from Port Kelang terminal are currently working on an agreement between truckers and depot operators.

However, the strike has resulted in a backlog of containers at the port. As a consequence, delays in receipt of import and export containers are inevitable and could result in additional port storage and removal charges.

We will continue to closely monitor the situation and provide regular updates.
