Agility has obtained the Good Distribution Practice (GDP) certification for its Pharmaceutical Competence Center (PCC) in Switzerland. The certification verifies that the processes and procedures implemented by Agility’s PCC adhere to the best practices in handling pharmaceuticals. These are temperature and time sensitive by nature and fall under strict regulations from the World Health Organization (WHO).
The successful certification aligns with Switzerland and France’s accreditation as Qualified Envirotainer Provider (QEP), and is further recognition of Agility’s focus on delivering unparalleled logistics services specifically geared towards customer requirements of the pharmaceuticals and biotech industries.
The certificate is valid for the PCC in Basel, Switzerland for air and road transportation modes in addition to all logistics activities. It was issued by the Swiss Association for Quality and Management Systems (SQS), a worldwide organization providing assessment and certification service.
