Possible disruption of operations at Jawaharlal Nehru (Nhava Sheva), India, Port

Please note that Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT) is replacing three of its Rail Mounted Quay Cranes (RMQCs).
The operation is expected to take place over a period of 40 days starting from 20 June 2011 to 31 July 2011. Port operations may be impacted during this time.

Six Libyan ports frozen by the European Union

In sanctions imposed on Muammar Gaddafi’s government the European Union agreed to freeze six Libyan ports.
EU officials say they will make it illegal for European-operated ships to do business with the port authorities. A wide ranging asset freeze and travel ban has also already been imposed from the EU.
